Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo, signed in ink “Douglas MacArthur, Tokyo 1946.” According to the consignor, the photo was originally owned by Sue Schrickel, one of the head secretaries on MacArthur’s staff during the occupation of Tokyo following World War II. Accompanied by seven unsigned vintage photos, several depicting Shrickel. A few small creases (touching signature, date, and body) and slightly indistinct contrast of ink against background, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
