Franking signature, “Free, H. Clay,” on a 5.25 x 3 mailing panel addressed in his hand to Col. George Thompson in “Pleasant Fields, near Harrodsburg,” Kentucky. In good condition, with toning and mild scattered soiling and staining, a few chips and small tears (one near but not touching signature), and a few creases.
