Prolific and highly regarded television writer (1924–1975) best known as creator and host of the television series The Twilight Zone. His big-screen scripts included such classics as Requiem for a Heavyweight (originally written for television) and Planet of the Apes. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, February 11, 1958. Amendment to an earlier agreement between MGM and Serling, changing the starting date of Serling’s work on a screenplay for a work entitled The Immortal, signed at the bottom in blue ballpoint by Serling.
