Barnet of Pennsylvania “for the appointment of Midshipman.” Countersigned by 11 others, including future Vice President R. M. Johnson. In very good condition, with sheet partly affixed to slightly larger sheet, intersecting folds, and scattered light toning, wrinkling (slightly touching Buchanan), and staining.
