Italian composer (1858–1919) best known for his operas, particularly the beloved repertoire staple I Pagliacci (1892). ALS in Italian, signed “Leoncavallo,” four pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 8.25, Ristorante Cencio, Firenze letterhead, May 30, 1916. An untranslated letter to C. Corradi which appears to have music-related content. Light handling wear and faint show-through of ink, otherwise fine, clean condition. R&R COA.
