Prolific American songwriter (1897–1985) best known for his durable Christmas classic “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” AMQS, approximately eight measures (with lyrics) from “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” on a cream 8.5 x 3.5 sheet of manuscript paper, signed and inscribed, “To Lionel Aucoin, Sincerely, J. Fred Coots, July 1, 1953. In very fine condition. Quite uncommon from this early date and in this pristine state of preservation! R&R COA.
