Vintage cardstock 8 x 10 photo, signed in green ink “Yours very sincerely, Elvis Presley.” This particular image, known among collectors as the “Louisiana Hayride” or “Tuxedo” photo, was taken in late 1954; few signed examples are known. Accompanied by a 1978 ALS of provenance from the original owner, with supporting statements from witnesses, explaining that the signature was obtained in person in the summer of 1955 during a personal appearance by Elvis at radio station KJBC in Midland, Texas. In very good condition, with scattered dings, surface marks, and small creases (a few unobtrusive marks to face and hair), subtle rippling, and tiny chip to one corner.
