Author, suffragette, dramatist, poet, and biographer (1819–1910) best remembered as the lyricist of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Ink signature, “Julia Ward Howe, Boston, Mass., Nov. 24th, 1875,” on an ivory 3.75 x 2.5 printed collector’s slip. A touch of mild soiling, a few light wrinkles (one to last name), and faint corner creases, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
