ALS signed “W. Ramsay,” one page, 5 x 8, February 12, 1906. Ramsay writes to John M—. In part: “I was under the impression that I had acknowledged the receipt of the cheque from the Phil. Society: but I find the receipt on my table tonight so I cannot have done so….” Light wrinkling, a few faint stains, and ink a subtle shade light but fully legible, otherwise fine condition.
