American pilot (1895–1981) who was a member of the famed Escadrille Lafayette, a group of American volunteer pilots who flew for the French military prior to America’s entry into World War I. Dolan was later award the French Military Cross and Legion of Honor. Color print titled “La Derniere Sortie” [The Last Patrol], 24.5 x 19, signed in black felt tip “C. H.
