Cartoonist (1900–1985) best known as the creator of the private eye Dick Tracy. Original hand-inked four-panel Dick Tracy daily comic strip featuring Tracy and his legendary two-way wrist TV, ink on artist’s cardstock, 23 x 7.25, July 6, 1964, signed in the last panel “Chester Gould.” In very good condition, with faint vertical bend, light scattered soiling, and typical marginal notations which could be matted out.
