Let there be light!

Vintage ink signatures, “Ty Cobb,” “Thos. A. Edison,” and “Connie Mack,” on individual off-white cards. Matted and framed with a limited edition photo from the Brad Murray Collection, showing Thomas Edison visiting the A’s spring training near his winter home and lab in Ft. Myers, Florida (circa 1927), most likely to discuss the possibilities and strategies of illuminating the game at night. Edison is following Connie Mack’s finger pointing skyward as Cobb listens on intently, to an overall size of 21.25 x 17.25. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope from Edison’s New Jersey laboratory, and a certificate of authenticity from the Bruce Murray Collection. In fine condition, with a couple small creases to either side of Cobb’s signature, and some mild toning to Mack’s. Auction LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
