Queen regnant of Spain (born 1830) from 1836 to her death in 1904. Large cabinet photo trimmed in size to 6.25 x 8.75, signed and inscribed in ink “A Madame Emma Nevada (incomparable Armina[?]), Isabelle de Bourbon, Madrid 12 December 1888.” Nevada (1859–1940) was a prominent American opera singer. In good condition, with trimming as noted (slightly touching a few letters), allover light soiling and toning, and scattered surface marks. The writing is dark and clear. R&R COA.
