Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in green ink, “To my brave pal Pat, Good luck and God bless you, Hoppy.” The original recipient of the item, Pat Long, was a North Carolina teenager who, while confined to an iron lung for polio treatment during his senior year in high school (1950–51), received good wishes and autographed items from around the world. Accompanied by copies of related clippings about Long and his collection. In very good condition, with tape to corners (just touching background), scattered surface marks and dings, and a few small spots. R&R COA.
