Goddard,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Mescalero Ranch, Roswell, New Mexico letterhead, October 12, 1936. Goddard writes to a Massachusetts collector. In part: “While it may be possible to arrange for the photograph or letter you request, I cannot promise this with certainty, for if I make one exception, I will, in fairness to others, have to make many similar requests, which I am naturally reluctant to do….” Light handling wear, otherwise fine, clean condition.
