American actor (1924–1966), best known as the trail boss Gil Favor on the popular television series Rawhide, who drowned at the age of forty-two while filming a television pilot in Peru. Fountain pen signature and inscription, “To Ken - With all my very best, your good friend, Eric Fleming ‘Gil’,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card.
