Description

Nobel Prize–winning, Italian-born engineer (1874–1937) whose development of “wireless telegraphy,” better known to the world at large as radio, would come to exert a profound and immeasurable influence not only on communications, but on modern civilization itself. ALS signed “G. Marconi,” one page, 6 x 8, Hotel Splendide, London letterhead, June 19, 1934. Marconi writes to Mr. Hunt. In full: “I have much pleasure in returning to you the two ‘Vanity Fair’ pictures duly signed….” Intersecting mailing folds, otherwise fine, clean condition. R&R COA.
