Vintage matte-finish 10.5 x 13.25 photo of Cooper in a light jacket and sailing hat, with a pipe clenched in his teeth, affixed to a 14 x 18 photographer’s mount, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to his jewelers, “To Trabert & Hoeffer, Greetings from Gary Cooper.” During the 1930s and 40s, Trabert & Hoeffer were famous jewelers to the stars. In fine condition, with signature and inscription just a shade or two light, a bit of silvering to darker areas, and some scattered light foxing to mount. PSA/DNA Auction LOA and R&R COA.
