Paris-born artist and filmmaker (born 1926). Limited edition catalogue of Werba’s work, No. 394 of 500, softcover with pictorial jacket, 9.5 x 11.5, circa 1961, signed and inscribed in ballpoint on the title page, “To Leonard Lyons with friendly admiration, N. Werba, Madrid 1961.” Above the signature, Werba has made an original “drip” painting in black and red, which she has signed in pencil “Werba 63”; a similar painting, also signed “Werba 63,” appears on a different page, with an original ink sketch incorporating the name “Werba” on the page opposite; offsetting to another page suggests that Werba originally included a third painting (not present). In very good condition, with chips and wear to jacket, light soiling to signed page (touching signature), and paper remnants from opposite page stuck to second painting. R&R COA.
