In full: “ Thank you for your thoughtful Season’s greetings. Mrs. Truman and I were delighted to hear from you, and we hope that 1958 will be a year of great happiness for you both.” After signing, Truman adds a handwritten postscript: “It was good to see you at Gov. Harriman’s party. Hope you’ll both come out and see my ‘institution’ [i.e., the Truman Library].” A few tiny marginal specks, otherwise fine, bright condition.
