Terrific original matte-finish 12 x 9.25 cast photo from the Oscar-winning 1933 film Cavalcade, affixed to its original 13 x 16.75 mount with the printed caption, “Fox Films Presents Cavalcade—The Picture of the Generation—by Noel Coward,” inscribed in fountain pen in an unknown hand on the mount, “Greetings to C. L. Walker” and signed by 13 cast and crew members: director Frank Lloyd, Clive Brook, Herbert Mundin, Ursula Jeans, Una O’Connor, Irene Browne, Merle Tottenham, Margaret Lindsay, Tempé Pigott, Billy Bevan, Desmond Roberts, Dickie Henderson, Bonita Granville, and Douglas Scott. In very good condition, with a few surface marks and scuffs to image, allover light soiling (stains and scuffs to mount, lightly touching a few signatures), and a few signatures light but legible.
