Writing to an Egyptian official after his visit

ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Sagamore Hills letterhead, January 8, 1911. Letter to Watson Pasha, an official Roosevelt had met on his trip to Egypt in 1910. In full, “This is to introduce you to Mrs. Alexander, a very charming woman, whose daughter married my son Ted. Mrs. Roosevelt and Ethel send you their warmest regards; we talk of you often. Is there a chance of seeing you in America?” Scattered light toning and soiling, a few trivial brushes to text, and Roosevelt’s signature resting atop a mailing fold, otherwise fine condition. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
