In part: “I certify, that the papers hereunto attached are true copies of letters recorded in the domestic letter-books of this Department under the dates which they bear respectively….” The embossed paper seal remains intact at lower left. Document tipped to larger sheet at left edge, faint show-through from mounting traces at corners of reverse, and a touch of mild soiling and handling wear, otherwise fine condition.
