Terrific, characteristic vintage oversized sepia matte-finish 10.75 x 13.5 photo of Fairbanks, dressed in pirate duds, smoking a cigarette, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Ellis Carter, Best wishes, Douglas Fairbanks, 1930.” Pinholes, tiny chips, and small bends at corners, ink a shade light but fully legible, and slightly indistinct contrast against background, otherwise fine condition.
