Two items: TLS, one page, 7.25 x 9.5, Desilu letterhead, May 21, 1953. In part: “Yes, I remember when the picture of you and myself was taken at the Flamingo Hotel, and of our meeting…. I agree with you completely that having a family is the nicest thing that can happen. Lucille and I never realized what real happiness was until the arrival of our two youngsters….” Also included is a glossy 4.25 x 6.5 photo of Arnaz with a man in swim trunks (evidently the image mentioned in the letter), signed in ballpoint “Desi Arnaz.” The items are matted and framed together to an overall size of 19.5 x 15.5. In very good condition, with intersecting folds and scattered light foxing and staining to letter, and scratch to sky in photo. R&R COA.
