Original pencil sketch of a man with a large nose in glasses, a hat, and an overcoat, on the reverse of a 6.25 x 10.25 sheet of Hotel Knickerbocker stationery, signed at lower left “Enrico Caruso, Octobre 1918.” In fair to good condition, with toned cellophane tape to edges (just touching top of hat and bottom of “E”), scattered soiling, creases and wrinkles, chips and a few tears (one tear slightly touching first name), and collector’s ink notation at lower right. Many of the faults can be matted out for an attractive presentation. R&R COA.
