Color vintage 6.25 x 6.5 photo of an artist’s portrait of Bogart smoking a cigarette on the open water, affixed to a 7.5 x 10.5 off-white sheet with hand-colored borders (made to look like a Time magazine cover), signed in the lower border in fountain pen, “It takes a heap o’ living to make the cover of Time unless you are a horse, Humphrey Bogart, June, 1954.” Mounted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 14.75. Accompanied by a 1988 invoice from the Scriptorium, where the item was originally purchased. In fine condition.
