Original blue and black crayon sketch of M. Peni Corsi as Benoit in La Bohème, on an off-white 8 x 12.5 sheet, signed at lower right “Enrico Caruso, 1910.” The sketch is tipped to a larger sheet bearing the original descriptive tag from Gimbel Brothers, New York, stating that the sketch was published in the 1914 book Caricatures by Enrico Caruso. In very good condition, with horizontal folds (one touching last name), a few pinholes and small loss to one blank corner, and mild scattered wrinkling and light staining. R&R COA.
