Polish-born American artist (1894–1951) best known for his works on Jewish subjects and his anti-Axis illustrations and caricatures during World War II. Szyk-designed Israeli postage stamp affixed to a 5.75 x 5.25 mount, signed in ink on the mount “Arthur Szyk, 1950.” The reverse bears an early dealer’s catalogue description. In very good condition, with pinholes to edge of mount and scattered toning and staining. R&R COA.
