Two items: Large vintage blue-green artist’s pencil signature, “Walt Disney,” on a heavy off-white 6.25 x 2 card; and an unsigned original production cel from the 1938 cartoon short “Donald’s Better Self,” depicting Daisy Duck preparing to whack Donald with a broom, presented against an airbrushed Courvoisier background measuring 9.5 x 7.5. The items are attractively framed and matted together to an overall size of 19 x 20.75. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Great American Ink. The signature is in very good condition, with writing a shade light but completely legible, light toning along bottom, and scattered light pinprick-sized spots.
