Home sweet heavyweight

American boxer (1866–1933) who was the first gloved heavyweight boxing champion of the world, from 1892 to 1897. ALS signed “Jas. J. Corbett,” one page on the correspondence side of a 5.5 x 3.5 picture postcard featuring a color image of Corbett’s home in Bayside, Long Island [postmarked November 19, 191?]. Corbett writes to Frank Bohen in Oneida County, New York. In full: “My Dear Boy: Glad to send you a postal of my home. With kindest regards, Yours truly….” Light scattered soiling and small bend to blank corner, otherwise fine condition. Auction LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
