Description

TLS signed “Harry,” one page, 8 x 10.5, Senate letterhead, May 10, 1943. Truman writes to Harvey Burrus in Independence, Missouri. In full: “I will be glad to see Mr. John L. Thurmond when he comes in.” After signing, he adds a handwritten postscript: “Had a letter from Rufus.
