Vintage fountain pen signatures of sixteen members of the 1937-38 Montrealo Canadiens on a light pink 4.25 x 5.25 album page. Signers include: Babe Siebert, Pit Lepine, Georges Mantha, Marty Burke, Toe Blake, Aurel Joliat, and Cecil Hart. Siebert won two Stanley Cups, in 1926 with the Montreal Maroons and with the New York Rangers in 1933. He was appointed head coach of the Montreal Canadiens and has the unique distinction of being the only NHL coach to never win, lose, or tie a game because he died in a drowning accident, in Lake Huron, shortly after he was hired before the 1939-40 season started. This left his family in such financial distress that the NHL held a memorial game for him, the third all-star game in NHL history. In fine condition, with a vertical fold, two small staple holes to top edge and a couple small collector notations. Auction LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
