Bacon writes to Miss Westcott. In part: “Thank you very much for your letter. I am terribly sorry I have no catalogues, they were all sold and the gallery has none at all, also I seem to have no photographs—but there is a small book coming out in about 2 months…. in a series published by Metheun on British painters today.
