Italian artist (1883–1966) who was one of the leading figures of the futurist movement. Two items: ALS in French, one page, 8.25 x 10, September 12, 1933. Severini writes to Monsieur Level on a retrospective of Modigliani’s work at the Charpentier Gallery, including particulars of security and insurance. Also included is a handwritten one-page document in Severini’s hand, including his signature, “Severini,” listing the names of several participants (including Pirandello and Brunelleschi) in an “Exposition des artistes” in Paris. Intersecting mailing folds to both items with associated light soiling and tiny edge separation to letter, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
