Original 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Bernhardt in character as “Pauline Blanchard,” vertically inscribed (in French) in ink and signed “Sarah Bernhardt, 1891.” In very good condition, with light soiling, edge and corner wear, and a few spots on mount and image (not affecting writing).
