Magnificent vintage sepia 8 x 10 Campbell Studio portrait photo of Fred and Adele Astaire, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To our friend ‘Mac’ What would the William Penn be without you? Sincerely, Fred & Adele.” ‘Mac’ was Kenneth MacRae from Pennsylvania, who helped plan the railroad and was president of the Red Cross in Atlantic City, New Jersey for forty years. In very fine condition, with a small spot on Adele’s cheek, a bit of moderate writing contrast and irregular adhesion to a couple strokes of inscription. R&R COA.
