Two items: vintage luncheon menu from Dempsey’s restaurant, 5.75 x 10, two pages, from 1940, signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the cover, “To Jean, Good luck from Jack Dempsey; and a one-page TLS, 8.5 x 11, Jack Dempsey’s Broadway Bar and Restaurant letterhead, dated July 3, 1964, written to a realtor, mentioning, “I know you are anxious to get some definite plans set…but it is impossible to do anything with John Tunney at this time.” In fine condition, with light soiling and handling wear to menu.
