Description

Live from Wolf Trap: More than 170 signatures from the celebrated venue’s “Wall of Fame”

Approximately 170 large ink and felt tip signatures, most on individual 8.5 x 11 sheets (a few on smaller slips), 1970s–1980s. The signatures were used as the original templates for the “Wall of Fame” at the famed Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia. Most bear handwritten clerical notations, including dates. A number of the signers have added brief sentiments, and a few have signed twice on the same sheet in an attempt to produce a “perfect” example for reproduction.
