Scarce vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo, an original NASA image of six pilots standing before the X-15, vertically signed in fountain pen by all five pictured: Robert A. Rushworth, John B. McKay, Forrest S. Petersen, Joseph A. Walker, Neil Armstrong, and Robert M. White. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from the original owner, who explains that she obtained the photo and signatures while a secretary on the X-15 project from 1960 to 1962, and an unsigned photo of the X-15 secretarial pool standing in front of the craft. A few very subtle dings and impressions to surface of photo (mentioned only for the sake of strictest accuracy), otherwise very fine, beautifully preserved condition.
