ALS, one page on Kelly’s personal 5.5 x 3.5 postcard, no date [postmarked April 15, 1955]. Kelly writes to a fan. In full: “Thank you for sending me your Kaleidoscope. I enjoyed seeing it. Gene Gilbert, 182 Sunset Drive, Eugene, Oregon, is the president of my fan club.” Accompanied by the unsigned “Kaleidoscope” Kelly refers to (a well-done homemade fan magazine), a questionnaire for the publication filled out in another hand on behalf of Kelly, an original printed MGM publicity bio of Kelly, and an unsigned vintage publicity photo. In fine condition, with light soiling and a few ink smudges to letter. R&R COA.
