Printed fabric American flag flown aboard the Apollo 17 mission, 6 x 4. The flag is mounted to a printed informational card bearing the signature of Johnson Space Center Director Christopher Kraft and the ink-stamped date October 1981. A color glossy 6 x 4 photo signed in silver ink, “Gene Cernan, Apollo XVII,” was later affixed at upper right. In very good condition, with discoloration to flag from adhesive used in mounting.
