Printed fabric American flag flown aboard the Apollo 15 mission, 6 x 4, signed in black ink, “This flag was flown to the moon onboard the flight of Apollo 15, July 26–August 7, 1971, Al Worden, CMP” The flag has been lightly stitched to a larger piece of archival material for preservation and display purposes. Also included is a certificate of authenticity signed by Worden, which reads, in part: “This American flag was flown to the moon during the flight of Apollo 15. I have personally authenticated this flag…. Apollo 15 has been recognized as the most scientific flight in the Apollo series.” In fine condition. COA Scott Cornish and R&R COA.
