Vintage ink signature and inscription, “To Joyce, yours, Elvis Presley,” on an off-white 4 x 3 slip. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Joyceln Degener, who states, in part, “I was a student in high school…when the young Elvis performed there. He was just getting started. It must have been 1955 or 1956…All the girls were crazy about him. A group of us gathered outside the school as he was leaving. I held out a piece of paper to Elvis. He asked me my name and signed it, ‘To Joyce.’” In very good condition, with a central vertical fold, affecting a couple letters of signature and inscription, overall light creasing and portions of signature light due to uneven ink flow.
