In part: “I wonder which version of ‘The Scarf’ you have read. The original … has a different chapter-order up front and a different ending from the paperback version…. ‘The Couch’ is based on a screen treatment by Blake Edwards, so the ending isn’t my idea…. I wrote ‘The Night-Walker’ as a screenplay…. Unfortunately, the low budget and [William] Castle’s leaden direction didn’t bring about the effect I’d hoped for.” Bloch then goes on to review recent and upcoming publications and travel plans.
