In part, “Please be advised that pursuant to our contract concerning the reproduction of a painting of me by Ilona, since Nathaniel Branden appears no longer to be the owner of the corporation, the contract is void and all rights to the painting revert automatically to me.” Accompanied by two TLSs. First letter is on Objectivist letterhead, dated April 2, 1968, signed by Barbara Branden, thanking a reader for a previously sent letter for an article in the Objectivist and a TLS, signed by Nathaniel Branden on his personal letterhead, sent to the same recipient, updating the reader on his personal life.
