Handsome war-dated vintage matte-finish 7 x 9.5 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “5 Nov 1944, To Captain Dana Roehrig, US Army, with best wishes, C. W. Nimitz, Admiral USN.” In very good condition, with mild silvering to darker areas, light edge wear with a bit of surface loss at bottom, creased upper left corner, a few faint surface marks.
