Stupendous vintage matte-finish 13.75 x 17.75 close-up photo of a smiling Mansfield, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Alfons Grabowski, You’re wonderful, Jayne Mansfield.” Matted to an overall size of 17.75 x 22.5. Faint bend at left edge (touching upraised arm and face, though virtually invisible) and a few tiny surface marks (mostly inherent to negative), otherwise fine, clean, visually appealing condition. The reverse of the photo has been taped at the perimeter to the mat (which is evidently original), having no effect whatever on the image. Make no mistake: though of poster-sized dimensions, this is an original photographic print—without doubt, one of the most magnificent images the storied starlet ever signed! PSA/DNA LOA and R&R COA.
