German general (1875–1953) who took part in the invasions of Poland, France, and Russia during World War II and who was the Commander-in-Chief of the western front from 1942 to 1945. Three war-dated ALS in pencil, in German, each to his wife, including two on German postal cards. In fine condition. R&R COA.
