In part, “I understand and appreciate your position with your old friends and I beg you to understand that you may send as many letters and endorsement of letters as you may think proper. I shall always be desirous to comply with any requests you make and know you will understand when I cannot comply - so fire away.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, scattered light toning, one small ink blotch and one small hole from ink erosion.
